Our Food Options:

Dinner:

We currently offer a full dinner service on Friday and Saturday nights. Our menu will change often but on Friday nights, our menu may include something like T-Bone Steaks, Stuffed Chicken Breasts, Thick Cut Pork Chops, or Pecan Crusted Trout. Saturday nights are our Italian Nights. You many see Spaghetti and Meatballs, Ravioli, Fettucine, or Chicken Parmesan. Each night will feature 3 Main Entree's that you can select from. All entrees are served with a house salad, dinner rolls, and a dessert. We will notify you of the menu the Thursday before that upcoming weekend. We try our best to base our menu on the dietary restrictions of our guests. Advanced notification is required! Not available upon check-in.

If a holiday is on a Friday or Saturday night, the regular menu and pricing may change if we are offering a special holiday dinner. You will be notified of the change.

Are you a local resident and want to join us for dinner? No problem! Our dining room is open to the public on Friday and Saturday evenings. Advanced reservations are required! We need to have you pick your dinner choice for that evening by 12:00pm (noon) on the day of. Please email or call us to ask about our menu. We also have a Facebook Group called "Sugar Tree Huggers" that you are welcomed to join. That is where we will post the menu for the upcoming weekend.

Not staying with us on a Friday or Saturday night? We've got you covered. We are pleased to offer other food options as well (available Sunday-Thursday before 7:00pm and Friday and Saturday before 3pm. Advanced notification not required.)

Bowl of Soup

• Choice of Minestrone (Vegan), Italian Sausage (GF), Black Bean (GF, Vegan) or Tomato Basil Soup (GF, Vegetarian). (selections may vary depending on availability of products.) Chili also available seasonally.
• Comes with a dinner roll (GF available)
• Price: $10 per bowl (plus tax)

Meatball Sub

• Includes 4 Meatballs (GF), Hoagie Bun (GF available) smothered in Marinara Sauce and Cheese, Potato Chips, and a Cookie
• Price $15 (plus tax)

Italian Sub: 

• Includes Genoa Salami, Pepperoni, Ham, Provolone Cheese, Tomato, Banana Pepper, Lettuce and Italian Dressing, bag of Potato Chips, and a Cookie. (GF available)
• Price $16 plus tax.

Hot Dog Meal

• Includes 1 Hot Dog, bag of Potato Chips, and a cookie. (GF available)
• Price $8 (plus tax)
• Additional Hot Dogs $5 each

Chicken Caesar Salad

• Includes Romaine Lettuce, Parmesan Cheese, Croutons, and Caesar Dressing (GF croutons available and Vegan Dressing can be substituted instead of Caesar)
• Price $15 or $10 without Chicken (plus tax)

Strawberry Walnut Salad:

• Includes Romaine Lettuce, Strawberries, Blueberries, Walnuts, and Mozzarella Cheese served with Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing. 
• Price is $10 plus tax. Add Chicken $5. (GF and Vegan minus the cheese)

Chicken Tender Meal:

• Includes 4 Chicken Tenders, dipping sauce, and Potato Chips. (GF available)
• Price $12 (plus tax)

Loaded Tator Tots:

• Tator Tots covered in melted Cheddar Cheese and Bacon Bits. (GF, Vegetarian minus the bacon)
• Served with a side of Sour Cream or Buttermilk Ranch dressing. 
• Price $10 plus tax.

Charcuterie Board

• Includes various sliced meat, various sliced cheeses, crackers, and olives (GF avail)
• Price $28 (plus tax)

Country Basket

• Includes: dry-cured salami (or other meats depending on availability), cheese slices, crackers (GF available), pickles, dried fruit, nuts, fruit cups, granola bars, and Cookies

• Price: $38.00 (plus tax)

Dessert: 

• New York Style Cheesecake: Served with a dap of Whipped Cream.
• Mini Chocolate Bundt Cake: Served with a dap of Whipped Cream (GF).
• Price $7 each (plus taxes)

We are also pleased to offer a well stocked selection of local wines and beer in our Tavern. Sit and work on a puzzle or play a board game while enjoying a beverage!

And finally, if you don't want to eat at the Inn, here are our recommendations for the closest eateries. We also have a list of restaurants and some take-out menus for your review located in each guest room.

• Gertie's Country Store and Deli: Great Burgers. Great Fries. Great People! (closed Sunday and Monday's) (4.1 miles) 
• Edelweiss: Traditional German Fare. There is even occasionally Polka Music that will start playing! Great place if you are looking for something unique and authentic. (closed Monday's) (13.2 miles) 
• Frank's Pizza, Pasta, and Subs (Fairfield): Their name says it all. Great selection with a little of everything. (closed Monday and Tuesday) (10.5 miles) 
• Giovanna's Italian Restaurant (Greenville): This is another great place to get good pizza, pasta, and subs. They have a nice selection of other options as well. (closed Sunday's) (10.7 miles) 
• Quaker Steak and Lube (Raphine): This is a fun car themed restaurant (hence the name play on Quaker State Motor Oil) that offers a large variety of options. They have great wings as well! (open 7 days a week) (6.6 miles)

If you are looking for more, Lexington and Staunton have many choices and are both equal distance from us, approximately 30 minutes. A nice brewery option with food is Devils Backbone in Lexington.
