Crabtree Falls: Located just a short drive from Sugar Tree Inn, this is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Virginia with a well-maintained hiking trail. Who can stop at just one waterfall? Sherando Lake Recreation Area: Enjoy swimming, fishing, picnicking, or hiking in this stunning outdoor retreat. Note they do close during the winter months. 

Vineyards: Rockbridge Vineyard & Brewery (Raphine, VA), Jump Mountain Vineyard (Rockbridge Bath, VA), Ecco Adesso Vineyards (Fairfield, VA), and 12 Ridges Vineyard (Vesuvius, VA) are just a few of the many vineyards in the area that are worth checking out! 

Wade’s Mill (Raphine, VA): Tour this historic working mill, buy fresh-milled flours, and learn about Virginia's agricultural history.

North Rockbridge County Trail:  North Rockbridge County has a lot to offer. From farm tours to vineyards and shopping.  Drive the trail and be amazed by the views, the friendly folks you'll meet, and all the artisan products we have to offer.  We'll see you on the trail!

VMI Museum & Virginia Military Institute Campus: Explore the history of the nation’s oldest state-supported military college.

Stonewall Jackson House: Visit the home of Confederate General Stonewall Jackson for a fascinating insight into the personal life of one of the Confederacy's most revered generals. 

Washington and Lee University: Enjoy the beautiful campus and stop by Lee Chapel and Museum.

Natural Bridge State Park: Discover this geological wonder and its surrounding hiking trails.

Duke’s Lexington Antique Center: A large multi-vendor antique shop with a variety of Furniture, Decor, and Rare Finds. Open 365 days a year.

Thriftique (Lexington VA): A New & Used Variety Style Store offering, Furniture, Home Decor, Jewelry, Antiques, Horse Tack, Primitives, Yard Decor and lots more.

Staunton Antiques Center: Located in historic downtown, this shop features two floors of Antiques, Art, and Vintage finds.

Stuarts Draft Antique Mall (Stuarts Draft, VA): The Stuarts Draft Antique Mall, located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, has been serving this valley and those that visit it for over 30 years. With over 30 vendors + dealers, and new inventory constantly arriving, you can find a variety of treasures from Furniture, Glassware, Books, Home Décor and SO much more! 

Factory Antique Mall (Verona, VA): The Factory Antique Mall is the largest in America. We are an over 150,000 square feet mall all on one floor - and still growing! If you can’t find it there, you don’t need it.
